Thread: DVD Architect 5 Problem

  1. Default DVD Architect 5 Problem

    Hi everyone,
I have just finished movie (33gb) that I have prepared for burning onto a blu-ray disc (50gb). Architect has prepared it on for burning but
when I burn it I get a message on my computer at about the 80% complete mark.
"The device failed to accept the command within the timeout period. This maybe caused by the devicehaving entered an inconsistant state"

THe other day I burned it ok, only this time I created menus, music and picture compilations?

Any idea? Is there something I need to check?

I use an LG Super multi Blue BD blu-ray burner to burn.

    Thanks

    Don't use BlueRay sorry...
check the Sony Vegas Forums - there may be clues . . . presumably you've plenty of HDD space, or are you buring to BD/DVD -
Although I suspect DVDAS will still use allocated HDD space to perform the Render, since it is quicker and then write the BD/DVD when it's done.
I use "Prepare" Option for my DVDAS vids and only Burn when they are Successful - has saved some plastic, that way.
