    Default go kart racing

Hi there, this is my most recent editing effort (but first one posted here) - let me know what you think. Video was taken on a wet May evening in Perth, Western Australia, so some of it is a bit dark. Great fun though.

wmv format, either 3.8Mb or 8.4Mb - I would recommend the 8.4Mb file if you can wait for it, as it is in stereo and is a much better picture.

    Cheers,

    Ian

On those unlit stretches of track, how could you see anything at all? It's not bad viewing, but the poor light ruins it for me.

Because detail is lost, I couldn't really make out who is doing what. I think your ability to edit is obviously very good, so in good light, this would be a different vid altogether.

Thanks guys, I agree on the problems with the darkness. My original avi edit is pretty clear, but I think alot of the detail has been lost in compression. There are plans afoot to do some daylight racing too, which should provide better footage. Watch this space...

    hey - pretty nice video.
but i always have 'super high standards' so please excuse my constructive criticism.
    - the video is fun but gets dull here and there- the driving footage needs to be a little more selective possibly.
    - a little variety too would be cool, like some more transitions and slows.
    - i somehow didnt like the shots from the camera with night shot.
    - some of the commentary towards the end shud be left on, makes the vid a little more 'exciting' and understandable.

A nice video otherwise - (u know they got a street here in NZ named after ACDC )
