Thread: Sony Vegas 7.0e started to crash while rendering.

  1. Default Sony Vegas 7.0e started to crash while rendering.

Hi guys, I've been using my good old Sony Vegas 7.0 since maybe 5-6 years now, and I never got this problem before I know 7.0 is old, but i'm fine with it.

I'm making video for youtube and I always render my videoas *DVD Quality .wmv* but that's not the cause of the problem since i've been doing this for years and just in case I tried .avi crash only the low quality .mp4 seem to work, but the quality is just to awful! <_<

I got a error report I don't know if it's going to be of any help, but here the crash error report.

I don't understand the jargon on the error report BUT I'd check things like disk space, bad clips etc.

Yeah, I have no idea what the error report say too, I got enough space on my disk, but what you mean by bad clip?

It's true that my project started to crash while I render it not so long ago so maybe it have something to do with a image, clip or whatever I added, but I added so many of them that I have no idea which of them can crash my rendering process any idea on how to find this bad clip if I have one?

I was able to render any part just fine until today, now it crash no matter which part of the video i'm trying to render it's really pissing me off...

In the worst case I can always render the video in a low quality .MP4 file so I can upload it on youtube, but it will make the video alot less fun to watch with the horrible quality...

    *Edit*

I deleted everything i done today and I can render the video in my favorite quality again, now i'm going to Ctrl + Y to put back what I done and test again if it crash again then I have to find which of these file make my project crash.

In the worst case here I have to restart a day of work which is better that restarting 2 weeks!

    I try that too thanks.

    *Last edit*

After five hours of wasting time editing and trying alot of solutions...

It seem I found the problem my project was just to big I think, Since I took what I made today and I simply copy/pasta all of the files into a new project and I was able to render it no problem.

So I guess I have to continue my video into a new project it's a draw back, but it's better that having to restart the whole thing.

    Thanks for the help guys.
