Thread: Vegas 9 Pro only shows FX Presets

Default Vegas 9 Pro only shows FX Presets

Using Vegas 9 Pro, I applied an add-in effect (color corrector). When I dragged a preset to the track it popped up a color wheel window where I could adjust the preset. I did something (not sure what) to close that window, and now when I drag any preset to a track it is applied but no adjustment window pops up. What do I need to do to get the pop-up adjustment windows to come back? I have tried everything I can think of!

It sounds to me like you've managed to drag the FX window to the extreme edge of the screen - you just need to find it. People used to post this "problem" quite regularly, but I've not seen it recenty.

You may be able to change the resolution of your display, open Vegas and open teh FX dialog, drag it back somehwere, close Vegas, change screen resolution back and open Vegas again.

A solution that worked for me once was this. The Video FX was actually underneath the Windows Taskbar near the bottom of the screen. You can either set the Taskbar to autohide or uncheck lock taskbar and then move it.
