    Default Sennheiser G3

    Hi,

Has anyone used a G3 system before and do you reccomend it for the standard videographer, interviews, pieces to camera and such like?

    Thanks,
    Ben

I think the G3 is pretty much the standard piece of kit for the pro videographer.

I've used the G3 and the G2 before it. Very reliable and a lovely piece of kit.

Sennheiser is pretty much the number-1 choice of any video guy I talk to, Yes there are other companies ( shure for example ) but the majority use sennheiser.

They are excellent and very robust. Pretty much beats everything out there in that kind of price range (Audio Ltd RMS 2040 being the typical for high end, however G3 are pretty much good for everything else)

We still have some G1s that are indestructable (and are channel 31 so will still work after the end of the year). Which is something you should check if buying any second hand is that will the frequencey still be avaliable after 2012
