Thread: Audio sync problems

    Default Audio sync problems

    Hi all
I'm pretty new to dvd copying and although I've managed a few half decent movies, too many of them are ending up almost unwatchable because of poor audio sync - typically it seems to be about 1/2 a second out and looks like those dodgy old Chinese films which were dubbed into English.

I'm using Nero (Vision Express) to burn the dvd straight from the avi/mpeg or whatever, so haven't used TMPEG for a while (but when I was using it, I was getting the same problem!). I've also tried shutting everything else down on the pc so it gets a clear run at it, but still with no joy.

Any tips would be gratefully received!

Hi there and welcome to the forums. Unfortunately the forums concentrate on video editing rather than ripping commercial DVDs. However, there's a fantastic resource for what you're after at www.vcdhelp.com
