Thread: Adobe Premier Pro CS6 Noob

  1. Default Adobe Premier Pro CS6 Noob

I'm a noob. Have played with wmml, sony vegas ms11, and now the big'un. Adobe premier pro cs6.

I am just started to view the tutorial videos on the adobe site. I assume that is the best place to start.

My 1st question is if I am importing video from a gopro2 in 1080-30, what setting should I use to start the project and export when complete?Right now the gopro2 is all I use to shoot video.

Have mercy on me. This Adobe looks intimidating. I had got up to speed on the basics of sony vegas ms11 but have just upgraded to adobe and am trying to get there.

Here is my goofy video page: https://vimeo.com/user8214753/videos (it has actually produced alot in the hobby i am in)

Open a new project, choose any sequence settings.

Import the footage into cs6, then when you drop the video onto the timeline it will ask if you want to change sequence settings to match video.

    Say yes and your away.

    That's a different conversation.

When you render, use one of the built in presets, I.e if going to YouTube, use a YouTube preset.

Play around and experiment with them

Does anyone know what render works best with gopro 1080-30 footage?

    Typically load to vimeo.
