Default A Newbie (to Adobe Premiere Elements) ...

I don't why, but I have bought myself a copy of Adobe Premiere Elements. I guess it was because I had installed the trial off a cover disk, and was quite impressed with both the user inteface and range of features on this entry level package.

As most of the regulars here know, I am a bit of a ULead fan, so I guess I will have to unlearn what I know thus far and see how Elements gets on with similar tasks.

I may well be posting back here for some advice from time to time.

I'll give a few weeks and then might do a right up on ULead (Video Studio) - v- Adobe Premiere Elements.

COMPAQ something or other with 500Gb Boot Disk, 1Tb external Firewire Disk, 4Gb Memory and a super duper sound card, 19" TFT Monitor etc etc etc

Sony Vegas Studio editions to v11

Remember, there is always more to learn than there is to teach.

I'm confident you will prefer it much better, once you get used to it.
I used ulead a lot before, I think ulead is more like what ms paint is to photoshop.

Congrats! For sure it's better than using Ulead. And so, when you fall in love about the Adobe Elements, your migration to the Premiere PRO will be very smooth and painless.

Any doubt you have, just post and then we will anwser.
