Thread: Adding text or "Annotations"

  1. Question Adding text or "Annotations"

Hi I have a PC so looking for a program that will work for doing this as it seems no other free sites have annotations like youtube....so looking to add text to my videos that use to have them I have found AVS4YOU® Best multimedia software on today's market. and have yet to use it but worried they watermark it? so if not a free software is there a "have to buy software" that will work? other than Imovie? Thanks for any help and support sorry if this was wrong spot or answered before?

You can down load Sony Vegas Studio HD Platinum for a 30 day free trial. It's the full version with no water etc. It only costs about £35 to buy. It will do what you want and much more. If you want totally free Window Movie Maker will put titles on a video.

Thanks! Very much okay so I will try that and then I will know if I should buy it thanks and would you say Sony Vegas Studio HD Platinum is the better route than adobe after effects as it looks to be cheaper?

They are both excellent pieces of software but they are two different types of software so it depends on what you want. Vegas is a straight video editor and After Effects is more for specialised effects. Give them both a try and see which you prefer.
