    Default Timeline in vegas

I have searched but can not find an answer so bear with me.

In Pinnacle I can view the timeline in seconds, ten seconds may be an inch long on the timeline, this allows me to see photographs I insert for say 10 seconds but in vegas ten seconds even a minute shows me nothing, I hope you understand, how can I adnust the timeline so that I can actually see the fades, photos etc I have added

    Thanks

    JR,
in all of the different products in the Sony Vegas software family you should find the interactive / Show Me How tutorials. Have you watched any of these to help you get started?

Not 100% sure what you mean, but here goes

To zoom into the TL to see seconds, click on the TL and use the wheel on the mouse to zoom in and out, or use the up down keys.

To see all frames in a clip find that option in preference, see help in Vegas
