Thread: What is this shot/style called

    Question What is this shot/style called

    Hello,
    wanted to know what is that shot called in which it seems that the camera is moving with the character/subject attached to subject....the rest of the scene looks shaky but the subject/character is stabilized when moving....i really dont know how to explain this ?
    Here's the link ....i know this shot has some name but cant remember !!!

    It's often called Doggy-cam or doggicam or doggie-cam or... any variation of the above.

    The old name was a self-shooting-full-body-harness but doggy-cam seems a lot easier.

    Not to be confused with a dogging-cam. Although a doggie cam works well in that context as well.

    Thank you for your replies....but the actual word i was looking for is "snorricam"....found it just now here

    No, it's known generically as a bodycam but has been called a doggicam in general use since the 1970s.

    A snorricam is just one variant made by a particular manufacturer. It's not a particularly good one either if the youtube video you linked to is anything to go by.
