Default Video appears to bounce in preview window and post-render.

    Hello guys,

I've been trying to solve this for about 10 days now and I do not know what's causing it.

My video appears to be bouncing up and down and I've tried changing various settings/resolutions but it's still doing it.

Here is an example of what I mean: Sony Vegas Boucing Video Problem - YouTube

I have tried various different resolutions. I've changed the field order to upper, lower and none (scan progressive). I've changed deinterlace methods. I've changed Motion Blur Type; and I've changed Frame Rates.

It appears to do it on everything. The original video isn't bouncing at all, however I need to deinterlace it and brighten it, hence needing to use Sony Vegas.

My Sony Vegas version is 11.

I hope somebody could help me!

    Thanks

I figured out that the problem is having the wrong frame rate for your video. Check your raw video properties for the frame rate, and set that in your project and render properties!

I'm glad you found the reason. It's like it's fighting with the interlace fields swapping during the frame rate pulldown.
