Problem with quality after uploading wmv to yt

Hello.

I exported a wmv file - picture and audio. After uploading it to youtube some parts are really blurry.

This darker area on the left side is a .png file without the background and opacity about 30% (I didn'd adjust the opacity level in Sony Vegas) and the right side is a background image (also .png).

Your little thumbnail images don't really show anything of the image quality BUT you do realise don't you, that your footage is rendered out at 720p and the YouTube quality you show here says 360p try changing the YouTube quality to 720p and it might look better.

Sure the quality will improve, but still, I just want to know why the edge of that transparent area is so blurry, while other edges are perfectly sharp.

Try outputting it as a .h264 file - I find that to be the best for retaining quality of image whilst getting a great compression ratio for youtube.

Okay, now I uploaded without the background image (wmv). And the result:

Sorry but I don't get what the issue is from this. Can you show us more for example where is the blur. What bit rate did you have set when rendering.
