Professional DVD / Blu-Ray authoring software

Which software is the best to use for professional standard DVD and Blu-ray authoring?

I have tried iDVD, DVD Studio Pro, and Encore, and I don't think any of them are that great.

Which software to the big guys use? I am not tied to a particular platform, and would be happy to buy the kit to fit the software.

I particularly don't like the way the highlight system works, and the overly complex way of creating menus. Plus the results when creating a menu with rollover highlights are terrible. The highlight colour never fits properly.

I would like to know what software the big studios use to create menus.
