Default Quick question on how to improve mic audio

    Hey guys,

I was recently linked this video, and one specific part sparked my interest. First- listen for about 5 seconds at 2:40, and then skip to about 5:55. Notice how the audio was worse? Can anyone tell me why/how it was better in the first part then in the second part? Thanks!

During the section at 2:40 he is using the audio from a lav (clip on) mic, but the section at 5:55 he's using the on board camera mic.

Yes getting the mic as close to the talent as possible makes a big difference .....I have learned that from this forum .

No Bob, you're a doer not a talker/reader. You were told it on this forum, but you learned it by actually trying it out. By far the best way!

During the "fuel scare" a few of weeks ago, a lady in York accidentally set her self on fire whilst transferring petrol from one plastic can to another.
