Noise reduction for grainy videos

Hello!
I need a good and free noise reduction for sony vegas because I have some low light videos which are pretty grainy.
I tried the Neat Video plug-in demo, but it works only on it's sample video. I also tried some presets, but no luck.
If you know any software that could help, please let me know.

This is one of those problems which is really hard to deal with. The only thing I can suggest is to try the soft contrast FX. It won't get rid of it but might reduce it a bit.

Yeah... I was afraid about that answer.
I still can't figure out if the demo version of Neat Video can't be used with other videos than the sample one or I can't configure it properly. In the Neat tab I can see the noise is being removed, but when I render the image it's as noisy as skrillex.
Any other suggestions? Anybody?

It is restricted to fixing just a small size.

I remember a fix from years ago that was used on RGB channels. Not sure if it's possible in Vegas, but duplicate the blue channel, which is where the noise lies, then blur it.
