Default Help! AVCHD footage is jerky with quick movement in Pinnacle Studio...

I am using Pinnacle Studio to edit. I am new to the HD game and my Canon shoots AVCHD. Beautiful footage, but when using it in Studio(15) the motion is jerky when the shot pans fast or movement is quick. I have been trying to figure this out for 2 weeks to no avail... Can anyone steer me in the right direction??? When I play the raw footage with windows media player the footage is fine. I was using Studio 11 Plus and thought if I upgraded to the latest version this would be addressed, but same problem! Help!!!

Studio 15 is not at all well suited to HD editing. I suggest you read the reviews for Avid Studio V1 on Amazon. I've just installed V1 and it works a lot better. Hope this helps.
