Default video crisp, still capture blurry

    Hello again all!
I'm working on the usual MTB film and I'm taking a 'snapshot' to the clipboard but it comes out terribly blurry. The video however looks fine. Is it just my eyes? My mind? Have I eaten too much cheese? Or is the video actually worse than it looks in the preview window? This is very disappointing as I can't seem to get a single decent snapshot for this reason.

Have you tried saving as a still from the timeline rather than snapshot to clipboard? Snapshots are very low res.
My opinions are just that . . . Mine. It's not personal, but is based on my emotional and professional reaction to requested critique. If you choose to ignore constructive comments, I'll just assume you're a vanity poster and not posting to improve your filming and editing skills.

Also make sure the preview is set on best full before you take the snapshot.

Set preview to Best/Full, deinterlace mode to Interpolate (if your source is interlaced), field order to Progressive, rendering quality to Best.
There are several scripts that can automate this process
