Default Sony Vegas Stops working after opening project

Hi I really need help. When i open sony vegas without a project it works fine, and it also works fine when opening most project files. But i have this one project that i really need to access (i have to render it), and whenever i open it i get a message box saying vegas pro has stopped working. Here are the problem details:
    Code:
Problem Description Application Name: Vegas Pro
Application Version: Version 11.0 (Build 594)
       Problem: Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005)
       Fault Module: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Vegas Pro 11.0\OFX Video Plug-Ins\TitlesAndText.ofx.bundle\Contents\Win32\TitlesAndText.ofx
       Fault Address: 0x143C594B
       Fault Offset: 0x0000594B

    Fault Process Details
       Process Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Vegas Pro 11.0\vegas110.exe
Process Version: Version 11.0 (Build 594)
       Process Description: Vegas Pro
Process Image Date: 2012-02-24 (Fri Feb 24) 15:02:38
I think the problem has something to do with the fact that i have titles and text inside the project.
    I am using Windows 7 64 bit
    3GB RAM
    intel i3 CPU
    Thanks in advance

Soud to me like that project file is corrupt. Look for the backup of that veg file (whatever.veg.bak) rename it as .veg and try opening that.

Try another (new) project and insert a title using the Titles and Text plug-in. Close, re-open. Does that exhibit the same problem? If so, the problem might be with that plug-in.
I also note that you are using the latest build of Vegas - is it possible the problem has only occurred after upgrading to this?
May be worth uninstalling and re-installing (possible an earlier build)

I did what u said, and it does not have the problem. Also when i started having this problem i upgraded to try to fix it but it didnt do anything so i dont think downgrading would help.

A long shot.... Make sure you have the font installed in your Windows system that is being used by the titles plug-in, in the problem project. I once had an issue with Vegas and eventually found that I needed to re-install the Arial font, then everything worked again as it should. Like I say it's a long shot but worth a try.

  8. Default It's a long shot........

but run the program as an "Administrator". i.e. right click on the icon and "Run As Administrator" .

    Pri,
did you try to find the backup of that veg file (whatever.veg.bak) (NOT rename it as .veg) and open that. (another long shot)
