Thread: Old Film Look

    Default Old Film Look

My daughter was given a really cheap rubbish camera called an Easy Go Cam looks like they go for 99p off Ebay.

So me being me I had to have a go with it to see what it could do. Well it was rubbish of course. So I turned the video into an "Old film look" exercise. I think I went a bit over the top on the film burn but do you think the rest of it looks quite authentic. It's supposed to be a home movie from the 1940/50's 16/8mm film.

You have been ripped off Midnight .....can't believe you paid 99p for that

seriously ..... did you see the editing room marketing site for the movie "Super 8" the start of your video reminded me of it Super 8 Editing Room | Official Site

Really looked forward to that movie ...enjoyed it but not as good as I thought it would be.

Amazing what you did Midnight for 99p and yes I thought it looked like a 1940's/50/s home movie !!!!

    Good job with crap equipment

Saw this come up on my youtube feed and thought it was pretty effective for what you were trying to do.
I felt a little inspired, seeing as I'm currently working on a film set in the 60s, I was just searching for stuff like this!

    Really liked these .enc.

I loved the old B&W look of David Lynches "The Elephant Man"

Realise it was a different look (ie) not as old /grainy but big fan of B & W .

Midnight free is even better than 99p !!!!!!

You probably wont be needing your other camera's any more now you have this new one I will take them of you hands no problem mate .

i phones are impressive pieces of kit
