Exclamation GoPro Hero 2 HD importing files - problems!

Have this great GoPro Hero2 HD camera, with great slow Mo options etc. I have Magix 15 installed, Divx Codec packs and good memory, yet when i import file to edit, the footage is choppy. Can ANYONE help me understand the process to bring the file into the editing software, i.e. to i convert filr format, size of file etc? when I run the file it is smooth as smooth but I need to edit specifc frames and the choppy footage makes this almost impossible

    cheers in advance

According to the marketing blurb, avchd editing is supported by your editing application. This would imply that either:

You've chosen a wrong preset for your footage (if this option exists), or
You PC isn't powerful enough ti edit HD

    What are your pc specs?
