corrupt files. *joy*
finally it happened. corrupt files on my sandisc card whilst using 7D. I don't have my serial number for 'recoveryprowhatever' so that is out. The job isn't paying enough for me to purchase file recovery software. any suggestions of free file recovery stuff? unlikely as it is. (i'm on a mac)

Sorry Fuzzy I only know Windows also recovery stuff is for getting back deleted files not fixing corruptions. If it didn't write correctly on the card I don't see how it could be recovered. SO it looks like a re-shoot or nothing.

Well I had to spend a bit of dosh. €30. but there is software out there that works at least. It scanned my corrupt file, compared it with another file that wasn't corrupt from the same shoot and figured out how to fix it. Developed by the Germans, makes perfect sense, tested it for free before purchase and I didn't have to buy the full unlimited €99 package.
Sorted. Ass is saved.
