Ihave thirty or more VHS family videos which are tedious to watch in thatviewing is difficult to control. By thatI mean moving about within the VHS tape. None of these VHS tapes has been edited so there is a lot of rubbishthat needs dumping.
Thesolution appears to me to place this material onto DVDs but I have read thatmay not present a medium within which to edit the material.
Iwould like to capture the VHS content, delete the rubbish, add titles, addcomment in text and possible add some voice over and maybe some music. It appears to make sense to me to have thecontent of more than one of the VHS cassettes on a single DVD if there isspace.
My computer specification is as follows.
OperatingSystem MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU IntelCore i5 2400 @ 3.10GHz
RAM 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)

Wouldanyone care to suggest what software/hardware I should go for?
