Default Moving a project from FCP express to Premiere...

My friend and i have been editing a film on FCP express. I've been learning more about editing and color correcting recently and have been teaching myself on Adobe Premiere. I offered to color correct the film on Premiere on my system. I'm curious what the best way to do this would be. is it possible to take the timeline from FCB with the raw data and somehow open that in CS? Or should he export the pre corrected final cut without correcting as a certain type of file, then I work on that, then export that as the final cut?

First of all why would you like to change your editing software? FCP is a powerfull program and its very similar to premiere. but if you want to moving your project maybe this will work:

you should export your project as a AAFA project that you can move your project to any editing program. and then open your project with premiere. I hope this works.

Reason is that the mac my friend is editing the film on only has 1 gig of ram and plus he is colorblind. I have a more powerful windows system right now with cs5 and can do it more efficiently. thanks for the tip.
