Thumbs up Guidestones (shot in Canada, USA and INDIA) - High production values

    Hey guys,

Writing about a series that I worked on called Guidestones. It's based in Toronto but was also shot in Atlanta and India. It's pretty high budget relative to most web series out there, was shot on a Canon 7D and I think it looks really phenomenal.

You can check out the trailer for the series here: Guidestones: Conspiracy Web Series Trailer - YouTube

I think the most innovative part of it is the release strategy. To watch the series (once it goes live in mid-January) you enter your email and then each episode is sent to you in 'real-time' at pre-determined intervals. You can't cheat and skip ahead or stream the episodes any other way (at least not initially), so it really becomes more of an experience than just passively viewing. As a web series creator myself, I'm really interested to see how this type of distribution method goes over.

If you have any questions about the series, you can ask me on Twitter (Twitter) and I can relay them to the writer/director, Jay Ferguson.

You can also follow the series on Facebook (Guidestones | Facebook)

To actually sign up now to view the series upon its release, just visit the official website and enter your email in the top right corner: Guidestones Web Series - Decode the Conspiracy

The series itself is kinda like Da Vinci Code meets Lost meets...Uncharted? It's a mystery/adventure/suspense/thriller. I just finished watching an advanced copy of the series last night and there are some insane twists and turns.

    Thanks for reading!

Novel idea. The Georgia Guide stones are not exactly new but it might be interesting to set a drama around these things. So long as it doesn't lead to miss-information.

Well done. Hmm maybe I need to subscribe to see how it goes... That's a good point no? I like the variety and quality of filming styles (except a little bit less the fake old TV/Webcam shots which do certainly not look like old TV/webcam/surveillance cam footage, even for a non specialist like me )

Default finally I just "liked" the page on FB. I guess I can also follow it that way?
