Default I don't know where to ask

I am trying to display a digital television audio and video feed on the same display as video display from a PC. I do not know the best route to take. I was hoping to find some hardware that would take audio/video input from my satellite receiver and another video from my PC (VGA/DVI/HDMI/S-Video). The hardware would allow me to fit both video feeds on one screen. What are some hardware and software solutions for this? If this is not the best place to post this request please redirect me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

After several weeks I take it that there is no hope for help in this community.

Try the AVForums that is a much more likley place to find an answer to your question than this forum.

Why make life difficult? - surely two screens right next to each other - that's easy and requires no specialist set-up. (er, as far as I know). Years ago that might have been difficult due to heat/mag. fields, but with modern LCD - - - -

Perhaps OP needs to explain why they think one common display is a good idea.

FWIW. I suspect this is an Electronics problem.

Perhaps because if OP spends 1000 on a display, He does not want to spend another 1000?

    What screen do you have?

on Extra displays, conduit and cabling are a concern. Space is also at a premium.

Thank you for taking a look at me situation. I have seen this in lobbies of hotels and other entertainment type establishments and I was hoping there would be a popular hardware or software solution.

Do you want to display both feeds on screen at the same time?

i.e ITV 1 is playing on the TV then at a moment of your choice you wish to display a PC message on screen over the TV program?

Or do you want a split screen view of 2 separate inputs? it something else entirely?
