    Default MP4 1280x720 25p Burning To DVD

Hi, I'm completely new to this forum and I am just after a bit of advice.

I have a whole bunch of 1280x720 MP4s (aspect ratio 16:9), which I need to burn to separate DVDs.

I use DVD Architect and this will automatically encode them to MPEG2 and the quality seems superb.

However, is there any danger that the aspect ratio may be displayed incorrectly on some TVs?

    Any help -xmuch appreciated!

I don't see why it would not show the correct aspect ratio on all TV's. I know years ago on older TV's and DVD players there may have been this sort of issue but it should be fine these days. Even if you do manage to find an old TV that is 4:3 size and it trys to play the DVD 4:3, you can always press a button on the remote to correct this. It just means you will have a letter box on the screen.

May I suggest you "test" it with a short 10 second segment of the entire video and burn a DVD and test it on your TV?

You can then check to see if the program scales it correctly for you.
