    Don't forget we have it on record that we (forum regulars) can buy them for 100

    But I'll need to wait till you design/build one to support a little more weight as my camera (especially when loaded up) is way too heavy for your quoted specifications.

    Good luck with the future auctions though. I was very pleased for you when I saw what the last one went for. I hope it continues for you.

    Thanks Alan. (or should I say Mr. Guitar?), I appreciate the thought. Forum regulars will get a crack at them at 100 as promised. I have to decide what `regular` means (other than the obvoius) , but if anyone is interested feel free to mail me.

    there was footage in the original thread. Looked pretty damn cool too.
    AMD Athlon 1700 (@2200mhz from 1466 sod the noise!) - 768mb pc3200 - 200GB Maxtor - Pioneer 106 - GF4 Ti4200 - twinhan/visionplus pci dvb-t - random pci analogue tv tuner - A7v600-x (to replace the a7n8x-d that died...) - random 17\" CRT

    I have shot some footage but just not done anything useful with it yet. I will try tomorrow, but I have a presentation in the morning and want to get that out of the way first.

    Searching on ebay for "camera crane" turns up the auction, for anyone interested.
