Default Avi save as green garbage

I don't seem to be able to make movies as AVIs in studio9. They all save in green, abit like the Matrix film titles.
Mpegs are OK tho. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Can you post the specific output settings?

sounds more like a problem playing back than a problem outputting. Codecs buggered up. run gspot on the file and see what it says.

Yer, probably more likely. I'm betting you have a codec pack installed?
