Thread: Video Size in Premiere Pro CS5.5

  1. Default Video Size in Premiere Pro CS5.5

    Hi everyone.

Can anybody tell me how to set up premiere pro to the size of the video I am editing. I have been sent a video clip to edit which is 582x480. How do I set up premiere pro to edit matching with those dimensions. At the moment, everytime I import the clip on to my sequance, there are big black borders all around the clip.

    Thanks

    open CS
    select new project.
    name your project
select appropriate sequence preset (closest to your file size and media type)
import your footage and drag it on to the timeline.

if you still have blacjk boarders.... right click on your footage (on the time line) and select scale to frame size

If you drag the video clip onto the "New Sequence" icon at the bottom the "Project" window, Premiere will create a new sequence to match the clip properties.
