Default unpinning a plug in help please

I was using Vegas 10 and I accidently dragged the Sony text plug in to the top toolbar, and it pinned itself there. I tried everything I could think of but I could not make it free floating again, having it pinned makes it very difficult to use any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I tried to pin it to the top tool bar and couldn't so I don't know how you managed that. Is there a column of dots next to it that is usually the thing to grab with the mouse to move it around.
