Default I ain't got time to bleed!

Had my first attempt at producing a bloody wound so thought I'd share the results.

The home-made blood I used is just water with a little flour to thicken it up and food colouring. It looked just great after i made it but it looks the wrong colour in the photos. I've got some more recipes to try so should get it right soon.

Easy enough to do. I'll produce a recipe if anyone's interested.

I'll have to try a bullet wound next

Anyway, let me know what you think.

Makes me think of chicken tikka marsala. You need more crimson in there - it's a bit too 'vermillion'.

The lacerated flesh looks very authentic - like a squished caterpillar.

Feh. That's nothing. A friend of mine had gender realignment surgery last week, and she's threatening to make an animated GIF of the healing process

I think Alan's cat got his own back. You need the blood the colour of your hall carpet though
COMPAQ something or other with 500Gb Boot Disk, 1Tb external Firewire Disk, 4Gb Memory and a super duper sound card, 19" TFT Monitor etc etc etc
    Sony TRV33e : Sony TRV310e : Canon XM2
Sony Vegas Studio editions to v11

Remember, there is always more to learn than there is to teach.

I know the colour wasn't quite right so I had another attempt.

Honest I did! It's a not a touch up in Photoshop at all. Why would you say that?
