Default Street Songs: The Directors Cut

I know this is an old video but I was playing around with it yesterday and think it's better than it's ever being. I hope you agree.

AND before anyone comments, YES IT'S DARK. I know, I'd only just got the camera and wasn't at all use to it. I had limited lighting, zero budget etc etc.....

Please watch full screen, it's better and thats what it was made for.

Well I must say you left me with a tear in my eye after watching that..... really touching and well, it's an issue in society that should not be brushed under the carpet or ignored.

Very well done indeed. It is the first time I have seen a short story done to music without dialog that has work really well. That was like one of those cup of teas that tasted so good that the next cup made is just not the same again,.. ( If you know what I mean).

Just got to go and wipe my eyes after that!!

Blimey, I wouldn't have expected that sort of response from you.

    Glad you liked it.

im amazed mrs midnight agreed to perform for the camera, out doors, in that get up its all i can do to get mrs enc to be in the same room when the cameras out

i think this is the best version yet. is this edit 23 ? subtle differences like the speeded up pedestrians are cool. also the dance scene flows better now.
    Good stuff.

Ha Ha. no, but it is edit number 4.

Mrs M is a good sport and before Rob comes along and drags this conversation into the gutter that's all I'm saying.

Yes things like that effect me sometimes.
Anyway, first technical question about the focal length you used at first. Are you using a long lens?? Are the cars real in the first shots when you shot her from across the street of an add in in post as an overlay?? Very well done either way.

Focal length. How do you expect me to know that. I could look at the manual and see what it says.

Yes the cars are real. I locked off the camera shot her stood there. Then removed her from the shot and shot the people and cars going past as a time laps I can't remember the frame rate. Then I put the time laps over the original shot in post and reduced the opacity.

    Simples
