    Default Reel Advice

I've done a lot of different types of work. I've done short films, multicam shoots, interviews, television news spots, all kinds of work. What should I do with my demo reel? Should I include all my different work in one reel? Or should I have several reels for my different areas of work?

You could do both. Most reels I've seen are a real mix like mine. I tried to make mine so it's split in sections. If you are promoting your self as a video producer you should show the variety of work you have produced. If you are promoting yourself as a camera man this is still true but the reels should be different and made to reflect what you are promoting and who your audience is.

I know this is all very general advice but I don't think there is a hard and fast rule, so it's hard to be specific.

    Hope my waffling helps.
