Default Is this PC specification good enough

    Hi there,

I'm looking to build a new PC used to process photographs, converting Canon 20mb+ in size RAW files into JPEG. At current i can be converting 100's/1000's of pictures at a time so speed is quite important and my current system isn't up to the job. I'll list the spec i'm thinking of and would appreciate any views on what i should upgrade or do differently.

Processor - i7 2600, 3.4ghz, may try and overclock this to around 4.5ghz.
    Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
    Memory - 8GB, 2x4GB 1600Mhz
    Graphics Card - ATI 6870 1GB
    Hard-Drive - Western Digital 1TB 7200rpm
    Power Supply - 500W Antec
Operating System - Was planning on using Windows 7.

Any help with alterations/views would be greatly

Think about getting a separate HDD for the media to the OS. This might help with what you want to do.
