    Default Applying filter to just a select area on the canvas

    It sounds really simple but I can't find a way to do it. I'll give you an example, I'm trying to add a blur effect to someone's face in said clip, but just their face. Surely there is a way to achieve this?

    There is a good tutorial here (you could have found it yourself with Google, looking for "blur face final cut pro".
