Hi all,
I've been experimenting with framing of shots and following the rule of thirds but sadly, I often end up screwing it up.
What will happen is I will line up my camera perfectly with the person on the right or left third and put their eyes dead onto it but as soon as I edit and burn to DVD, TV safe margins kick the edges of the video out and it gets lost.
I could try to scale the entire video footage down in size in the editor but then I risk ending up with black bars on screen when I burn unless I do it perfectly right, so how do the pros line up their shots?
