Default cropping faces in platinum HD 10

    Hello peps,

i got a quick question regarding cropping/masking (not sure if this is the correct depiction) in my Movie Studio HD 10 Platinum Edition.

What i'm planning to do is basically attaching the face of one drawn subject to the head of an actor in a real life scene and let it move actively along with the actors body as the scene goes by, while delivering different facial expressions by using multiple pictures. I hope you know what i mean? How's that effect/media FX combination called in Vegas, and are there any tutorials available for this? I'm providing a example of what i'm talking about below for you.

    Regards,

You'll need the head to be on a transparent background.
Stick that on track one, right click it, go into properties, go to the Media tab, change the "alpha channel" to "Straight (unmatted)"
Put your background video on track 2.
Use track motion on track one to move the head.
It is fairly simply, but a laborious, task to get the head following the body.

Thanks, it's working like a charm in combination with GIMP!
