    Hi

I'm looking for some advice. I have been asked to edit a short video for a project in Glasgow. How much could I charge for doing this, it would be a 10/15 min video.

    Any advice?

    Thanks :D

How much work needs doing on it? Is it basic or advanced? Have you done much work or is tihs your first? Are you using top software? It all depends

This will be my first time editing for someone else. I think it will just be a basic edit, some titles and transitions. I am using Adobe Premiere 5.1.

Thanks a lot for the quick repsponse

How many scenes? Are you capturing it for them? Are you authoring a DVD for them or just giving them a file? What's the topic? Have you ever visited a Turkish prison?

I think it will be the raw footage I'm getting, So I'll have to edit and output to a tape or DVD? I having a meeting with the parties involved next week, so I,ll get more specific information then. If I need more help, I,ll post next week.

I like this forum, Most others don't even reply.

Disapear for an hour or so and you miss the whole thread  So, coming in latemy 2p would be...

If it were me I would estimate the amount of work involved, decide how much you like them to determine of an hourly rate to charge. Multiply that up and then add the cost of any materials used.
