It is that price for a reason. I have no experience with the camera BUT I do know that it looks like a "PRO" camera but it's not. It would be much more expensive if it was. I'm sure you will get a nice image from it if you can use it properly as most Panasonics are nice cameras. At £750 ish that is cheap even for this camera, It's normally another £100. It is normal not to have tapes or cards when you by a camera but a lot of retailers offer packages which often include them.
I would simply advise that with cameras you get what you pay for and at £750 you will get a good consumer camera.
