How much do you think a SONY DCR-SR42 is worth with a broken LCD screen? The screen isn't cracked but appears white (so in the wiring something has gone wrong). I am updating my camcorder rather than repairing and was going to see how much I could get for it at a pawn shop.

Absolutely nothing.
A camera where you cannot view what you are recording is no use (I don't believe it has a manual viewfinder).
It doesn't take MIniDV so you can't even use it for capturing a stash of old tapes.

The only poossible value would be to someone who has the means to repair it or wants spares.
