Maze Cord Blood Bank has created this viral animated video about cord blood in order to bring this life-saving subject to public attention.

As you can see the content is relevant and the video is the cutting edge of film animation. The clip is both entertaining and educational. What do you recommend to make this video go viral?

It is? It looks like a 1950's government information film to me.

Perhaps the planning for the attempted viral advertising should really have been done before making the clip. Whilst being a pretty animation, the clip did not excite me to tell my friends and family. I suspect the most successful 'viral' clips are exiting enough to watch even though the viewer is not interested in the subject; but is still fun enough for people to want to pass the URL around.
