Default splitting clips in ulead video 8

Can anyone help? I have ulead studiovido 8 and I have a bit of a conundrum. I have a clip that I would like to split several times. Thats easy enough but I also want to place transitions in between the split clips. I have tried doing this but when I play it back I am losing the audio at the beginning of each clip and I don't understand why. If I am splitting each clip then surely I am splitting the audio as well. Can anyone help me. The audio, by the way, is on the video clip and hasn't been done seperately.

Just tried this and had no problems. Can you post back your project settings? Did you use split by scene or multi-trim video?

    Thanks
