Smile IMac for editing HD on Final Cut?

Hi! I wasn't sure where to post this thread so I post it here.

I'm about to buy an IMac and my main goal is to be able to edit HD footage fastly on FinalCut.

Would you recommend these settings or should I aim for something more powerful?

    • 2.7GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
    • 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
    • 1TB Serial ATA Drive
    • AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512MB GDDR5

That is more than enough and it will have no problem with HD. It's faster than my system and mine deals with all the HD formats comfortably. Don't forget that because of the difference in operating systems (and the fact that Windows always has a lot of stuff running in the background) you can't directly compare Macs' and PCs' specs side-by-side.
