How can I copy a short part of a video on a website?

Hi guys.

I want to copy a short part of a film that is on an internet website.

The reason I want to copy it is that I filmed it and want to use it for a bit of pr.

I have tried real player but this does not work.Any ideas?

I use Sony Vegas 9 if that can be use in some way.

If you filmed it, you presumably have contact details for the person you gave it to to put on the website. Ask them. If they won't give it to you this raises copyright ownership issues.

As for how you can download it, this rather depends on the format and how it's been embedded in the site.

Yes I suppose I could just ask them.They have added graphic's to what I have filmed and I just wanted to have it as an example of my work.
