Default Desperate Plea for Help - Chroma Key Blurriness Driving me Mad

    Hola video legends,

A bit of help please. We are having an absolute mare with chroma-keying (is that the right way of saying it?).

    - Basically, shoot it fine in HD in front of correctly lit greenscreen
    - Transfer footage to PC and it looks crystal clear, no problems
    - Import into Prem Pro, chop out the greenscreen, person left in goes a bit blurry
    - Render out when finished and the person goes mega blurred but the image we have dropped in behind is crystal

    What am I doing wrong?

    Driving me mad!

    Thanks
    Andy

Premiere isn't that great for this, After Effects is much better if you have it. What effect are you using to take out the green screen and do you have a sample? maybe even a few images.

Hey David, thanks for replying on this... turns out it was (as I imagine many of you guessed) and epic #fail on my part. Had somehow accidentally "stretched" the original image when adding the background. Hence the blurriness.

Agree re AE, which is how we spotted the issue.

Sat in a darkened room and given myself a ruddy good pep talk to prevent it happening again

Appreciate you taking the time out to help.

No problem, I knew something sounded weird. In After Effects keying with Keylight is a dream.

    David.
