Thread: How to split raw HD m2ts into smaller files without losing quality.

  1. Default How to split raw HD m2ts into smaller files without losing quality.

I have some 20 minute video clips with a lot of junk in them and only need select parts for editing in Sony Vegas. Is there a program I can use to easily split a single 20-minute clip into smaller clips like 100mb each or 5 minutes each without losing quality?

    Thanks

What you are suggesting is not really the best workflow you could use. Why not just use what you have already to edit, that way you miss out an unnecessary possible quality reduction step.

I definitely wouldn't want to use the method unless I would not lose any quality.
