Default .flv clips on a macbook pro

I have an handful of clips in a high quality .flv format. I would like to piece the clips together without compromising the quality. As mention I am a macbook pro, 2.4 Ghz core 2 Duo with 6Gbs RAM, running Mac OS 10.6.7. I Have premiere pro cs5, iMovie 11, iMovie HD and Pinnacle Studio v.14 Ultimate in windows. I would like to do this in Mac OS to prevent having to move files.

Hi, Mpeg streamclip, it is free for Macs and works quite well as a video converter.. put a .flv file into the converter and it will tell you to get something like "perion" I think it is called . I use this configuration quite a lot.anyway ... get that and install it for free and then the mpeg streamclip will convert it into any format you want ( within reason).
