How do you make a clip start out in color and then have it fade to black and white?

You select the 'Black and White' video FX plug in and keyframe it. Start the clip with 0% effect and place a keyframe along the timeline wherever you want it to start the desaturation, then another where you want the effect fully in place and select 100% black and white at that keyframe. Easy!

I know how to keyframe for Pan/Crop but when I try to keyframe Video FX, there is no option for me to keyframe it

Edit; nevermind, I figured it out. Thank you for your help
