Thread: how do you set how many frames are moved to at a time on the timeline?

  1. Default how do you set how many frames are moved forward at a time on the timeline?

When I use the forward and backward arrows on my keyboard I notice it moves forward or backwards in increments of 12 frames, whereas the same file in premiere pro 2 (and 3) moves forward 1 frame at a time. Is there a way of setting this in vegas?

If you zoom into the time line enough you can move less than one frame at a time.

oh I just found out that if you hold down alt key and then the arrow key you move forward 1 frame at a time instead of 12 at a time. Strange I would have thought this would be the opposite by default. Any way to change it?

The only way I know how to change it is zooming in and out of the time line. I've never bothered to look for another way as it's never been an issue for me.
